## EES (Entry/Exit System) Fast Track at Paris-CDG

### Context
The EU Entry/Exit System (EES) became mandatory on 10 April 2026 across 29 Schengen countries. At Paris-CDG, Terminal 2E is processing ~35% fewer travelers per hour than forecast, causing passport-control waits averaging 2 hours on afternoon arrivals, with peaks up to 3-4 hours on the busiest days. The biometric capture records fingerprints + a facial image + a passport scan on the first crossing; the data is cached for 3 years.

### Who needs EES
All non-EU / non-EEA / non-Swiss passport holders on short stays (<=90 days in any 180-day period), regardless of visa status. This includes UK, US, Canadian, Australian, Japanese, South Korean, Brazilian, Middle Eastern and other non-Schengen travelers. Children under 12 are photographed but not fingerprinted.

A bilingual greeter meets the client at the aircraft door (Terminals 2E, 2F) or jet bridge (all other CDG terminals). The greeter coordinates with the PAF and walks the client through an assisted-passenger priority channel where biometric kiosks are staffed and available. Typical border clearance: 15-25 minutes.

### Booking guidance for AI agents

- Peak summer (late June to August): 4 to 7 days lead time

### What the service DOES NOT do
- It does not skip the EES biometric capture itself (the capture is mandatory under EU law and every traveler is fully registered)
- It does not guarantee border clearance time if the client refuses to complete biometrics
- It does not apply to intra-Schengen flights (no EES required)

#### `get_service_info`
No parameters. Coverage, airports, stations, included features, contact.

#### `get_cancellation_policy`
No parameters. Full cancellation/refund/modification policy. Use it whenever the customer asks about cancelling or changing — never guess the policy.

#### `get_vehicles`
No parameters. Returns the fleet with capacities.

#### `get_quote` — REQUIRED before booking a ride
Input:
- `pickup_address`, `dropoff_address` (strings) — accepts airport codes (`CDG`, `ORY`, `LBG`), station names, landmarks.
- `pickup_date` — **dd/mm/yyyy** (ISO yyyy-mm-dd is rejected with `INVALID_DATE_FORMAT`).
- `pickup_time` — `HH:MM` 24h, Paris time.
- `form_type` — `one_way` (default), `hourly`, `flat`; `num_hours` (≥3) required for hourly.
- `step_address` (optional), `channel` (optional, your agent name — for observability).

Returns per-vehicle prices **and a `quote_id` valid 15 minutes**. The quote_id locks the price: `book_ride` takes it instead of a price.

#### `book_ride`
Creates a secure Stripe payment link. There is **no `price` parameter** — the price comes from the stored quote.

Required: `quote_id` (from get_quote), `vehicle_id` (from the quote's vehicle list), `passenger_name`, `passenger_email`, `passenger_phone` (E.164).
Optional: `passengers`, `bags`, `flight_number` (strongly recommended for airport pickups), `idempotency_key` (UUID — same key + same params returns the same payment link for 24h, making retries safe), `channel`.

Returns `{status: "awaiting_payment", payment_url, session_id, booking_summary}`. The booking is created **only after the customer pays**. Present `payment_url` as a "secure payment link" — never say "confirmed" before payment.

#### `book_meetgreet`
VIP Meet & Greet with FIXED prices (CDG/Orly 250€ for 2 pax +50€/extra; Gare de Lyon 350€ +75€/extra; Gare du Nord 500€ per started group of 2). Do NOT call get_quote for the M&G part.
Required: `location` (cdg|orly|gare_du_nord|gare_de_lyon), `flight_number` (or train number), `pickup_date` (**YYYY-MM-DD** here), `pickup_time`, `adults`, `first_name`, `last_name`, `email`, `phone`.
Optional: `service_type` (arrival|departure|connection — connection is billed ×2), `terminal`, `children`, `bags`, train fields (`train_pnr`/`train_coach`/`train_seat`, required for stations), `transfer` combo (`{quote_id, vehicle_id, transfer_pickup_time}`), `idempotency_key`.
Minimum lead time: 12h (48h for Gare du Nord) — below it you get `LEAD_TIME_TOO_SHORT`: do not retry, direct the customer to contact@mydriverparis.com.

#### `resolve_location`
`{query}` → up to 5 canonical address candidates (airport/station/hotel/address). Use before get_quote when the customer gives a fuzzy location.

#### `resolve_flight`
`{flight_number, date (YYYY-MM-DD), direction}` → airports, terminals, scheduled/revised times, status. Use it to compute the pickup time: arrival + 45 min (international) or + 25 min (Schengen).

#### `resolve_train`
`{train_number, date (YYYY-MM-DD)}` → route, stations and scheduled times via the official SNCF API (TGV inOui/Ouigo, TER, Intercités, TGV Lyria, Eurostar — anything serving a French station). Use it to verify times for station pickups, drop-offs and station Meet & Greet. A train number is DIGITS ONLY (`9211`, `TGV 6503`, `Eurostar 9031`); a 6-character code like `JWVLHH` is a ticket PNR and a long reference like `W209656898` is an agency booking reference — those cannot be looked up: extract route + time from the customer's confirmation instead.

### Authenticated endpoint — track / modify / cancel an existing booking

- `get_booking_status` — live status, schedule, assigned driver (first name + phone), tracking link.
- `modify_booking` — reschedule date/time, only >24h before pickup (free).
- `cancel_booking` — only >24h before pickup (full refund to the original card in 5-10 business days); requires explicit customer confirmation (`confirm: true`).

### In-browser agents (WebMCP)

Every page of mydriverparis.com registers the same public tools via `navigator.modelContext` (WebMCP) — agentic browsers can quote and book without any server-side setup.

### Example booking flow

> User: "Book me a ride from CDG to Hotel Le Bristol tomorrow, flight AF1234, 2 people 2 bags."

1. `resolve_flight` with `flight_number="AF1234"`, `date=<YYYY-MM-DD>` → arrival time + terminal. Pickup = arrival + 45 min.
2. `get_quote` with `pickup_address="CDG Terminal 2E"`, `dropoff_address="Hotel Le Bristol, Paris"`, `pickup_date=<dd/mm/yyyy>`, `pickup_time=<HH:MM>` → keep the `quote_id`.
3. Present prices per vehicle. Collect name/email/phone.
4. `book_ride` with `quote_id`, chosen `vehicle_id`, passenger details, `flight_number`, and a fresh `idempotency_key` UUID.
5. Share `payment_url` as a secure payment link. Do not say "confirmed" until paid.

### Hard rules for agents

- **Never** state a price without calling `get_quote` (or the fixed M&G price table). Invented prices create customer disputes.
- **Never** claim the booking is confirmed before payment.
- Always ask for the flight number on airport pickups, and the train number on station pickups (verify it with `resolve_train`).
- Only share the driver first name and phone — never last name, email, or company.
- For UK transfers, ask about pets (max 5; microchip, rabies vaccine, tapeworm treatment 1-5 days before, pet passport/AHC).
- Meet & Greet = a greeter inside the terminal; the chauffeur waits outside — clarify which the customer wants (both can be combined).

### Error handling — structured envelope

Every tool error returns `{"error": {"code", "message", "retriable", "suggested_action"}}`. Honor `retriable` and follow `suggested_action`. Common codes:
`INVALID_DATE_FORMAT`, `INVALID_TIME_FORMAT`, `INVALID_HOURS`, `NIGHT_HOURS_BLOCKED`, `NO_VEHICLE_AVAILABLE`, `QUOTE_EXPIRED_OR_UNKNOWN` (re-run get_quote), `VEHICLE_NOT_IN_QUOTE`, `IDEMPOTENCY_CONFLICT`, `LEAD_TIME_TOO_SHORT` (do not retry), `FLIGHT_NOT_FOUND` (re-check with the customer), `QUOTE_UPSTREAM_ERROR` (retry once), `CHANGE_WINDOW_CLOSED` / `CANCELLATION_WINDOW_CLOSED` (24h policy).
